Grievance Redressal Mechanism

IIIT Agartala has established a grievance redressal mechanism to address the concerns of students, faculty, and staff in a fair and timely manner.

Student Grievance Redressal Committee (SGRC)

The SGRC is constituted as per UGC (Redressal of Grievances of Students) Regulations and handles grievances related to:

  • Academic matters (results, attendance, evaluation)
  • Financial matters (fees, scholarships)
  • Infrastructure and facilities
  • Harassment and discrimination

How to Submit a Grievance

  1. Try to resolve the issue informally with the concerned faculty member or department.
  2. If unresolved, submit a written complaint to the SGRC through the Academic Section.
  3. The SGRC will acknowledge within 7 working days and resolve within 30 working days.
